Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat a wide array of animal health issues with a compassionate and thorough approach.
Perform essential surgical procedures, including but not limited to spays/neuters, dental work, and emergency interventions, ensuring the highest level of veterinary care.
Engage in preventive healthcare through vaccinations, wellness checks, and education of pet owners on optimal animal care practices.
Maintain meticulous medical records, documenting all consultations, treatments, and procedures.
Collaborate with a dedicated team of veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver comprehensive care.
Pursue continuous professional development to stay at the forefront of veterinary medicine and best practices.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
Eligibility for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in British Columbia, with a preference for existing license holders.
Open to experienced veterinarians as well as new graduates with a strong educational background, showcasing a commitment to animal health and welfare.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with team members and pet owners.
Organized and adept at managing multiple cases with a detail-oriented approach.
A heart for animals, demonstrated through a patient and caring professional demeanor.
